The King Edward Hotel is a 119-year-old landmark. The French Renaissance-style building was built in 1906 by Toronto’s then-richest man, It was built by George Gooderham of Gooderham and Worts Distillery fame, and named it after King Edward V11. The hotel is a designated heritage building and honours its rich history. The private residences were completed in 2013.
